This blog has caught me in a wistful mood

Thinking about people who have gone before me and wonderful friends. Like my Thompson grandparents. They really aspired to the theater and gave my brother and I our acting talent. Well he got most of it. He acted professionally. I acted in school and church, but we both acted passionately and with all of our hearts like my grandparents and he still does. I just use it in my every day life now :-). No I am not a drama queen! Well I try not to be. But I am passionate about life and what I believe in like my grandparents.

My grandfather Thompson was passionate about us, the grandchildren. About what we were doing and had to say and about anything we could say to make him laugh his hearty laugh. He wanted to know what we were up to and our plans for things like life and boys or girls, depending. He was driven to make sure we were happy. He centered his life on us and his wife and his two daughters and then perhaps his job selling insurance. At least that was the impression he gave. When we were in the room we were his focal point. He loved us and he was very good as a grandfather and knowing the focal point in any room. It was born, not of acting but of love. For his section. I'll put a picture of my brother Scott and his wife Marie. Scott Thompson Baker is his namesake, my brother and the actor. Love you both Grandpa Thomps and Scott and of course you too, loving Maria.
